Governor's Award and RK Sanatombi Devi Awards, 2026
The 28th Governor's Award and the 43rd RK Sanatombi Devi Awards , 2026 was held on the 15th of September,2026 at the Asha-Jina Campus, North AOC. His excellency, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla , Hon'ble Governor of Manipur, Prof. RK Hemakumar Singh, Vice-Chancellor(i/c), Manipur University and DR. RK
Nimai Singh, Retd IAS Officer graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and President respectively. The function started with a lamp lighting ceremony by our esteemed guests followed by Saraswati Vandana by students of Leirik Institute of Nursing and opening song by vidyalaya students.
The Governor's Award ,2026 is awarded to Ms. Sushitra Ningthemchamayum of Class XI(Sc) for her excellence in academics and co-curricular activities. The Awardess of RK Sanatombi Devi Awards,2026 are Irengbam Ratna Devi (Teacher), Khwairakpam Diyara (MU Topper,B.Ed), Pinky Soibam (MU Topper ,M.Ed), Lairikyengbam Poda Devi (Nurse),Khwairakpam Budhinanda Singh (Differently Abled Person),Laitonjam Lanchenba(Swimming),Chirom Joyshree Devi (Boxing),Nameirakpam Tomchou Meetei(Weightlifting) and Huidrom Bhumeswory Devi(Athletics), for their outstanding achievements and dedicated services in their respective fields.
The presentation ceremony was followed by a multitude of beautiful cultural performances from our students. We are proud to continue the legacy of hosting and presenting these prestigious awards.
